We start with a simple drawing that encompasses your idea, either from a photo or an existing piece and make a simple quick drawing with notes of the dimensions and the finished look you want  at NO COST

We re-draw the design, figure out the materials, the end finish, the exact measurements and put it in a work drawing that our carpenter can understand and submit that for your quote. We work with carpenter families in  West Texas and Juarez Mexico $85 for the drawing and it is yours

We like to work with wood and metal, we don't work with MDF, Particle board or other industrial mass produced materials . Reason is the old fashioned handwork that goes into the building of the design. Hand carved, hand painted, either refined and smooth or real Texas and Mexican rustic. Wood types: Oak, Alder, Ponderosa, Mesquite and high grade pine, either reclaimed or new.

After getting you the quote for the desired  piece, and you would like to have it built, a deposit of 50% will be required, the $85 for the drawing will be subtracted from the total

The estimated building time  is usually about 8 weeks depending on the volume of your design ( we have done dozen of restaurant chairs and tables for example and that takes longer due to the small production volume of the carpentry shops we work with. Patinas, colors and end finishes we do here in New Braunfels. So you expect you piece in about 10 weeks

When the piece is ready, inspected by you and to your full liking, the balance is all that is left and we can deliver to you. We offer a 2 warranty ( replace or repair for free on structural defects or basic issues that occur in manufacturing )
